You can’t choose your family. I’ve been lucky enough to be blessed with a pretty great family but have witnessed times when siblings don’t get along. This song was written from a brief for a short film by Madeline Gottlieb called You and Me, Before and After. It wasn’t the song that landed in the end but I love how it turned out and I felt it needed to be heard within this EP as it marked a very particular time in life - it was all done during lockdown.
